Workplace Chat Simulator
(I do not own any of the art assets used in the simulation)
Overview
Workplace Chat Simulator is a 2D chat simulation where you will chat with several staff of the company to resolve a range of situations.
We delivered Workplace Chat Simulator after 12 weeks collaborating with Conperior who managed the content, Rubify who handled the front-end and ArcLab handling the back-end.
Roles & Responsibilities
Role: Programmer
Being the programmer in the team, I had to send messages that:
-
Handled the back-end systems with online cloud save/load using Google's cloud servers for each unique user.
-
Manipulate data using python for recording progress within the simulator.
-
Integrate with Rubify's front-end portal for authentication to handle user login.
-
Communicate with Rubify's systems by sending data for progress within the simulator.
-
Importing chat simulation data with content from Conperior.
Post-Mortem
It was my first project working and integrating with other companies' platforms and was a very tough challenge for me, but I received guidance and insights about how front-end platforms worked and how to integrate them properly was beneficial to me.
Thank you for reading about our work on Workplace Chat Simulator!
